Note that the dress doesn't come with the belt...and I really like what the belt is doing here.  It adds shape and breaks up the multi-stripe making it easier to look at as well as more flattering.  Torrid sells the belt separately for $18.50, but if you can't find it just get a belt that coordinates with the shoes you plan to wear with this...I'd suggest a cute pair of wedged espadrilles!

I'm referring to the back cutout.  Now normally I would agree, the way these back  cutouts are executed would be a hot mess of back fat on a Plus Size girl...just saying.  But then on a  "normal" size girl you see her bra and that is not so cute either.  By reducing the large back cutout in the to something that almost resembles a keyhole this version gives a nod to a big Spring/Summer trend while being appropriate for the Plus Size market.  I can't wait to get mine in the mail!

You see a friend of mine has this from Forever 21...just not in Plus.  Hers didn't have the hood but I could swear they looked the same online, sigh.  The stitching is just green...I mean it's OK...but I'm not in love.  Most likely it's going back...but we'll see.

Big girls can't do stripes?  Cha yes we can!  Just have to do them right...and it helps to be honest with yourself...or have really honest friends.  What do I mean by that?  Well if you don't look good in it you should be able to say "bye bye"...and if you can't, have a friend that can let you know that just because it fits doesn't mean it looks good.
