Second Chances

I fell in love with this same dress from ASOS Curve last year...I knew it would make the perfect New Years Eve dress...but then I also knew I would be staying in for the Holiday so why spend the money.  

I always regretted not buying it and now I have a second chance...last year it was available in two colors...cream and black...this year in navy ...looks like I need to make plans for this NYE!

Baby I love you!

I had been waiting for the perfect occasion to wear this dress for the first time...lunch at Mama's Fish House in Paia Maui for our 5 year wedding anniversary seemed like the perfect time to me...and it was!

Now I know what you must be thinking..."Leggings in Maui?"...well I did say this was a dress...and so did ASOS Curve...but it's far too short to rock with bare legs!  I think it looks pretty good with the leggings...what do you think?  I'd love to hear from you!

Reality...I was in Maui...I didn't care about getting dolled up for a photo session...I wanted to hit the beach and snorkel.

A little less than a month ago I was contacted about a new Designer on the scene offering sizes 12-24.  Exciting news...even more so as I'm starting to see lookbook shots thanks to the gorgeous Allison McGevna.  This new line comes from Eden Miller...she's multi-talented  and one of us...yes she too is a curvy girl!

A Lady In Leather

I've always been a fan of leather...I rocked leather pants and skirts back in the day.  Now I find myself obsessed with these amazing Trousers from ASOS Curve.

I'm at battle with my heart and my head at this point...my heart says buy them and my head says save your pennies...but then in this case that's a lot of pennies!  What are your thoughts...should I buy them?  Would you rock them?

Who doesn't love a good polka dot?!

I was nervous about the Peplum not being a great silhouette on me...like many women I didn't want to call attention to my midsection in a negative way.  But now that I know they don't look a hot mess on me I'm obsessed!  I'd love a longer sleeve but other than that I'm more than pleased...the fabric was actually even better than expected, not too thick or too thin!

With a pop of color on the lips I left the makeup simple.  I meant to wear my red shoes but couldn't get it together to get out the door in time that day so I had to slip on my go to Toms Wedges!

Put A Bird On It

The color of this top caught my eye in a sea of product images.  I used to skip over woven  button-front tops...no matter the size or cut I'd end up with gaping holes between buttons at the bust...not a cute look!  I think that's why I seek them out now, I'm always up for a challenge...and though it sucks to fall in love with a top not knowing if it will work out I'm elated when they do!
